Find Jeans that suit your body type!

EY!
So here are some of my own tips for finding jeans that suit you and then i'll go into specifics
Most of the more flattering jeans tend to have a good amount of stretch
I always make sure the jeans i'm purchasing have atleast 2%-5% spandex or other stretchy material
this will hug your shape better.
Darker wash!
a darker wash looks good on everyone seriously and it looks better put together than a lighter jean
and it tends to make legs look longer and leaner!
Find jeans that ACTUALLY FIT you lol
most jeans are way to long for me so i will get them in short or have them tailored to your length
it honestly doesnt cost all that much!
Dont go around "floodin" and Dont go around drowning in fabric
it looks sloppy!
Also try on various different sizes to find what fits best
sometimes 5's fit better than 3's for me it varies with each brands so dont be afraid to take multiple sizes with you in the dressing room!

Now for the specifics

RECTANGULAR SHAPE:
Shoulders and hips are of equal width, with little waist definition. Bust size is average, rib cage large, waist not marked, flat butt, and thin legs. Tend to gain weight in the abdomen, thighs and love handles, and tend to have a little pot belly.

Jeans that would suit your type would be bootcut and flare jeans would be best for you body.
Jeans with flap pockets or backs with designs will help accentuate a flatter butt so you will look more proportionate.
DO NOT WEAR STRAIGHT LEGS OR LOW RISE JEANS
this will accentuate your tummy area and you do not want that!

TRIANGLE/PEAR SHAPE:
Rounded hips with defined waist. Full rounded hips and bottom. Narrow shoulders and small bust. Tend to gain weight in bottom and thighs and are prone to saddle bags while their stomachs remain relatively flat and their waists small.

Jeans that would suit this type would be Bootcut or gentle flare jean.
lowrise jeans will help your help your torso look longer.
ofcourse stretch and a dark wash
DO NOT WHERE ANY JEAN/PANT WITH PLEATS,JEANS THAT HAVE NO BACK POCKETS OR SMALL POCKETS.
AVOID TIGHT JEANS AND NO CAPRIS!

HOURGLASS SHAPE:
Balance of curves and angles, straight shoulders, defined waist, curvy bottom. Bust and hips in proper proportions. Shapely legs and usually fine boned. Weight gain is usually in the love handles, stomach and thighs. Even for this "ideal" body type, it's not easy to find the best fitting jeans.

Jeans that would suit this type would be lowrise gentle flare/straight legged  but most jeans are made for this shape so pretty much anything goes.
DO AVOID ANYTHING BAGGY,POCKETS ON THIGHS SUCH AS "MILITARY STYLE",ANYTHING TOO TIGHT!

INVERTED TRIANGLE SHAPE:
Broad shoulders, medium to full bust, average waist, narrowhips and shapely long legs. Weight gain usually is apparent in the stomach, midsection, breasts and arms. Rear usually remains flat and thighs slender.

Jeans for this body type would be bootcut/flared with embellished back pockets or back pockets with a flap. Lighter washes work well with this shape.
DO AVOID STRAIGHT LEGS,LARGE BACK POCKETS,NO BACK POCKETS,JEANS WITH SMALLER WAISTBAND

FULL ROUNDED SHAPE:
Round body with fuller shorter waist, wider rib cage, rounded neck and back.  Lower hips and slender legs

Jeans for this body type are Darker washed relaxed bootcut jean with a higher/mid rise waist.
also make sure the jeans has a wider waistband.
DO AVOID LIGHT WASH JEANS,DISTRESSED JEANS,JEANS WITH LIGHT FADE,BAGGIE JEANS,STRAIGHT LEGS,AND ULTRA TIGHT JEANS

DIAMOND SHAPE:
Narrow shoulders, small bust, broad hips generous thighs and slender calves.

Jeans for this body type is Darkwash bootcut fit with some stretch. Back pockets should sit higher and be larger. If your shorter than get lowrise jeans to make torso appear longer.
DO AVOID STRAIGHT LEGS,SMALL BACK POCKETS,LIGHTER WASHES,JEANS THAT ARE HIGH WAISTED

So pretty much you know now that Darkwash bootcut is the most flattering type of jean to purchase and preferably with stretch and that straight legs are the biggest jean to avoid!
SO i hope this helped a little!
Thanks
